A few months ago we met up with Adam and Ben Wells who are now Fine Art graduates from Goldsmiths University. I first came across their work via a casting call for performers they shared on their Instagram. After having already talked to them about my interest in performing in their work we decided to meet up to talk more about their work and their journey through art school.
With their humbled selves and creative minds, performance, costumes and film are an essential way in which they express their ideas and thoughts. Their most recent work was their collaborative degree show, in which they showed a film ‘Wet Leaves are Good for Snails’ in conjunction with a live performance titled ‘Water Lettuce’.
I talked to them about this work and their working process, as well as sensuality, care and their future plans.
